Rick Koonce
Rick Koonce is an accomplished voiceover and narration talent who has voiced a wide range of commercials, videos, industrials, software tutorials and promotional materials for various corporate, organizational and retail clients over the last 20 years.
Known for his crisp and versatile voiceover style, Rick brings warmth, authenticity and a highly conversational tone to commercial copy; clarity and precision to technical, medical and scientific texts; and authority and resonance to his narration work.
His ability to quickly shift his delivery style based on client and project needs is a hallmark of his professional work as a voice actor.
Rick is a former radio reporter, news anchor and TV news associate producer who, for five years was also a regular business commentator on Public Radio’s popular business program, “Marketplace,” heard on public radio stations around the world. In addition to his work as a voice actor, Rick is also a part-time stage actor, a member of StageSource - Greater Boston’s Theatre Alliance, and New England Actor.com. He studied acting with Bruce Nelson of the Wooly Mammoth Theater in Washington, DC and with Janet Waters of Catholic University. Recent stage credits include major roles in two summer 2009 productions at the Provincetown Theater in Provincetown, MA.
